Dr Abdul Mirza was recognised with awards at the CEO Magazine’s annual Titans dinner in the Sector of Education and Training: Academic. He was awarded as both the South African and SADC Regional winner. The award was in recognition of his efforts and leadership in research, industry development, social responsibility and his strategic vision for the sector.

CEO Communications recognises Titans who are Building Nations

30 July 2014. The inaugural Titans – Building Nations, recognition for influential African men took place at Gallagher Convention Centre. The dinner was attended by foremost business executives and government officials. This mix made for a good audience as CEO Communications announced the African men being recognised in various economic sectors across Africa.

This was the first of six events to take place in various regions of Africa. Making for good networking opportunities, these events aim to celebrate the achievements of the men who are advancing African economies and communities. Continental winners are invited to a final event where this programme started, in SA, to celebrate the big names on 30 October 2014.
