NITheP Seminar – Dr. Daniel Park: Quantum information processing with spins in the solid state

Spin systems controlled and probed by magnetic resonance have been valuable for testing ideas of quantum control and quantum information processing. In this talk, I will introduce the basic concept and some recent results in spin and magnetic based quantum computing. I will also discuss a number of quantum control techniques that have been benchmarked and developed in the spin qubit systems, which can be extended to other implementations of quantum information processing.
