Dynamical Groups, Coherent States and Some of their Applications in Quantum Optics and Molecular Spectroscopy

We will review the dynamical Lie groups and Lie algebras approach and associated coherent states (CS). A mathematical formalism related with CS (Kȁhler manifolds, holomorphic functions, path integrals, semi-classical equations and Fokker-Planck equations) will be considered. Some applications are connected with the dynamics and relaxation of model quantum systems in external regular and random fields, quantum chaos, Frank – Condon transitions in molecules and molecular rotor dynamics in a magnetic field.
