Miss Marie Louise Umuhire was born in Rwanda in 1985. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Physics at National University of Rwanda in 2009.
Miss Umuhire joined University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2016 for prostgraduate studies and now she is pursuing PhD in Quantum communication and Information processing under the supervision of Prof Francesco Pretuccione and Dr Yaseera Ismail.
In 2017, miss Umuhire won an award winning of ndivia XP for a best poster presentation at Deep learning Indaba conference held at Witwatersrand (Wits) University.
